System Load Reached 1,610 MW

          On January 14, 2025, at 19:00 hours, the peak load of Mongolia’s power system reached 1,610 MW, which is an increase of 145 MW compared to the same period last year. Electricity imports also rose by 34 MW.

        Recommendation: Using cooking pots with clean, smooth surfaces and sizes that match the heating area of the stove can reduce energy consumption by up to 60 percent.

       Households, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to adjust their electricity consumption during the peak load hours (17:00–22:00). By doing so, they can help reduce overall system load and contribute to lowering the costs of electricity imports.
