Professional and Methodological Guidance Provided to Zavkhan Province’s Energy Regulatory Local Council and Licensed Heat Supply Entities

          The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), in cooperation with the Energy Regulatory Local Council of Zavkhan Province, conducted a series of activities from June 16–21, 2025, Uliastai, Zavkhan. The purpose was to monitor the implementation of the conditions and requirements of heat production, heat distribution, and regulated heat supply licenses issued in Otgon, Songino, Ikh-Uul, Uliastai, and Tosontsengel soums and to provide professional and methodological guidance to licensed entities.

         The ERC working group reviewed the compliance with license terms and requirements, provided guidance on preparing and approving tariff proposals, promoted the implementation of energy efficiency measures in rural areas, and delivered training on the newly revised “Rules on Commercial Relations Between Licensed Regulated Heat Suppliers and Consumers.”

         A total of 30 managers, engineers, technical and financial staff from 28 licensed entities in Zavkhan Province participated in the training sessions.
