“Use Wisely, Save More” Campaign Winners Announced

          The “Use Wisely, Save More” campaign was jointly organized by the Energy Regulatory Commission and Metropolitan Education Department across all nine districts of Ulaanbaatar. The campaign was implemented with the support of the Project Implementation Unit of the GIZ project titled “Energy Performance Contracting for Residential Retrofitting in Ulaanbaatar city – RePaRe project” as well as energy distribution and supply organizations operating in the capital city.

          The campaign selection process was conducted in three stages. The final, third-stage competition took place on February 11, during which teams from a total of 17 schools —representing each district—competed, involving approximately 170 students.

The winners were as follows:

• 1st place:            School No. 109, Nalaikh District
• 2nd place:           School No. 69, Bayanzürkh District
• 3rd place:            Golomt School, Nalaikh District
• Special awards:  School No. 127, Bayanzürkh District, and School No. 15, Khan-Uul District
