At its regular meeting on November 30th, 2022, the Cabinet made the following decision about the electricity charge that used by ger district during the night will be calculated from 1^st of November with discounted rate.

           ERC’s regular 48^th and 49^th meetings were held related to the decision of Cabinet 1^st of this month. A total of 7 decisions were made at the meeting.  The crucial part of the meeting was the above mentioned night rate discount.

         Following the decision, ERC has requested to give instructions among the electricity distribution companies to compensate for previous month’s electricity charge in the ger district from 1^st of November and to make corrections to the billings used by households in November.

           All conditions of this night rate discount will continue as in previous years.

           In 2021, 156,000 families received discounts of 23.6 billion MNT. According to the expected performance of 2022, it is estimated that a total of 173,600 households in the capital Ulaanbaatar city, the center of 21 provinces, and villages with a population of more than 10,000 will be given discounts of 29.5 billion MNT.

         In addition, at the regular meeting, 6 issues related to the license and heat and electricity distribution and transmission were discussed and resolved.
