The general meeting of the Energy Regulatory Commission was held on the 19th of this month. During the meeting, a total of 11 issues were discussed and solved. Among the topics discussed were extending the period of validity, and additional changes on scope of the license of supplying heat and electricity companies, also evaluating the conditions and requirements of 10 special licenses for private sector electricity distribution and regulated provision of electricity, evaluating the fulfillment of the 2022 target, and setting targets for 2023.
Furthermore, the ERC also reviewed the coal tariff used for generating electricity, also head of the Arkhangai province’s regulatory board and member was appointed.
