CAPACITY-BUILDING TRAINING WAS CONDUCTED FOR MEMBERS  OF REGULATORY BOARDS OF PROVINCES AND CAPITAL

The Energy Regulatory Commission recently organized a comprehensive capacity building training program for full-time 22 members of regulatory boards representing 21 provinces and the capital. 

The training was conducted within the scope of the following topics, with the aim of providing knowledge and information in the field of personal development, prevention of conflicts of interest, activities of the regulatory board and improvement for full-time members. It includes:

       Evaluating the terms and conditions of licenses, issuing, renewing, suspending, and revoking licenses;

  1. Reviewing, approving, and resolving proposals for thermal energy tariffs;
  2. Development of local energy saving programs, and implementing metering system for consumers;
  3. Implementation of legal grounds and applicable rules and regulations related to the resolution of applications and complaints submitted by license holders and users;
  4. Assessment of the 2021 work of the Regulatory Board of Provinces and Capital, issues to be considered in the future;
